Inaugural Post...

... or re-post. Or post-post. This is the fourth incarnation of my blog (if you count the "roll your own" journal I wrote in ColdFusion back in the year 2000) and in this go-round I'd like to reflect some of the interesting online stuff out there I'm seeing and chew on how it relates to designing software people can really use. I don't pretend to have any great insights on the latter. I've been designing software and websites for the last 15 years and while I've managed to make a pretty good living I do still feel like I'm just figuring it out and I'm just blown away by lots of what I see out there.
