Just finished watching Maxed Out - a very well done, very disturbing documentary on the havoc that easy credit is having on the lives of many Americans. Its hard not to see the proliferation of credit cards in the same light as fastfood and recreational drugs. As a species we just don't seem to be programmed for weighing long term consequences, and there are to many organizations with vested interests in helping us rack up debt. (My wife insists we pay off our balances each month - and I'm going upstairs to thank her in person right now!)

Maxed Out
